Resident hounds at this time are both Spanish Galgos. Luna, (laid back and lady-like), and Star, (who loves to play, play, play), will host your hound's stay. NOTE...**Luna is currently undergoing chemo, and because of her health, we are unable to host any hound that has any type of medical issue such as diarrhea, coughing, parasites or similar.*
Two mini Dachshunds andoccasional small foster dogs now reside at the Greyhound Hotel, so if your hound is not small animal safe, you might have to make other arrangements. We don't want to endanger the smaller rescued critters that live here. They are all 'hound-savvy' and ignore the big dogs after introduction.
At the GREYHOUND HOTEL, your special hounds will be pampered and closely supervised. We take a limited number of guests to assure all get plenty of attention during their stay. Whether you have to be gone for a day, a weekend, a week or more, your
hounds will experience their own vacation with 24-hour room service,
Saturday Spa (including 'pawdicure', brushing, deshedding & coat conditioner), supervised access to the large wooded outdoor area
overlooking the lake and full run of the house.
Unless specifically requested, we do not use crates or confinement. Greyhounds get along so well together, there is seldom reason to separate them from each other; and as every greyhound owner knows, they all have near-perfect house manners.
